About the lyrics
BhajanHits is a free, non-commercial collection made for singing together in satsang and kirtan.
- Shown in full: traditional aartis, mantras and stotras, compositions of saints such as Tulsidas, Surdas and Meera Bai, and folk, kirtan and languriya songs that have no known writer.
- Opening lines only: songs written by modern lyricists or released by music labels (from films or albums). For these we show only the first few lines and a link to find the full lyrics elsewhere, because the words belong to their writer and publisher.
We decide which group a song belongs to as carefully as we can, using public credits. If we have got a song wrong, please tell us.
About the videos
Videos are played with YouTube's official embedded player. They stay on YouTube, belong to their owners, and nothing is copied or stored on this website. Owners who switch off embedding on YouTube are respected automatically.
Songs added by visitors
Visitors can submit bhajans. Each submission is checked automatically before it appears, but mistakes can happen. Please submit only traditional songs or songs you have the right to share.
